Official Race Description:
The Mad Mountain Mud Run will be the first mud run in Western North Carolina, and the course will challenge you while using the beautiful mountains and landscapes of the area. The objectives are clear as mud: create a fun and challenging event to draw mud-loving, extreme-sports enthusiasts in the area. Race directors are expecting thousands of filthy people at the event. Dirty friends and family are welcome to join the festivities all day and cheer on the racers. Racers will be assigned a heat upon registration with race start times and parking details emailed to all registrants at a later date. One last thing – are you mad enough to compete in the Mad Mountain Mud Run?
Charity:
Proceeds will benefit Hands On! A Child’s Gallery. Hands On! offers an affordable, educational and fun way to spend the day with your children, grandchildren, and students ages 1-10. This is a safe gathering place where kids can be kids while learning is nurtured. Field trips, special events, and birthday parties are welcome.
