Some people come to compete, but many come just to complete!

Charity:

This annual event was created to raise money, awareness, and support for Marines and their families around Columbia, S.C., and across the nation who have been wounded or killed while serving on active duty. Profits from the mud run are also used to support several local college scholarships that have been named in memory of Marines killed serving their country as well as local events that promote the Marine Corps in the community.
