July 7 – Durham
The fifth annual fundraising ride to support the Duke Multiple Myeloma Program features 25k, 50k, and 100k routes that wind over rolling hills through beautiful Durham and Orange counties. The terrain is typical for the Piedmont area of North Carolina. The roads wind through forests and farms with short but frequent rolling hills. There will be rest stops and SAG vans throughout the routes.
The ride will start from the North Pavilion (which is the multiple myeloma clinic home), 2400 Pratt St., which is just across from the VA hospital on Fulton Street off the Fulton Street exit off Durham Freeway/147. Donations will help raise awareness of multiple myeloma and fund research seeking causes and treatment options at Duke University Medical Center. www.dukemultiplemyelomabikeride.com
