Eishia Nicole Chisholm is a 32-year-old business analyst from Mint Hill, N.C., who says the Ramblin’ Rose Women’s Triathlon helped her get back into shape after having her daughter, Kendall. Chisholm credits her husband, Xzavier, as her largest supporter. “I would like to thank him for his many days of sacrifices during the 16 weeks of training to prepare for the triathlon,” she says. “I would also like to thank my family and friends who also supported me throughout this journey with their prayers and encouragement.” Chisholm’s most memorable moment was when she crossed the finish line and was immediately surrounded by family and friends congratulating her and celebrating her “victory.” For Chisholm, that meant more than 25 people! Endurance Magazine’s spectacular photographer Beatrice Yaxley of Tamara Lackey Photography was able to capture “Team Eishia” in our photo booth. You can see Chisholm’s support team on pages 28 and 29.
