The Big Muddy Challenge, an obstacle course mud run designed specifically for parents and their children, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville, N.C. Children ages 6 to 12 along with a parent or guardian will “race” through a very muddy but age-appropriate obstacle course just shy of 2 miles long. The event welcomes participants from across the Triangle community.
The Big Muddy Challenge promotes family activity, sportsmanship and a sense of accomplishment. Community partners include the Rex Healthcare Foundation, Playworks of Durham and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle. All Big Muddy participants finish as winners.
