On Oct. 13, Ride 2 Recovery, in conjunction with The Mann Group and Liberty Bikes, will host the Honor Ride Asheville. Ride 2 Recovery is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to improve the health and wellness of healing heroes through mental and physical rehabilitation programs that feature cycling as the core activity. The funds raised through R2R support individual and group cycling programs at military and VA locations throughout the U.S., as well as local rides for healing heroes, all aimed at helping injured veterans overcome obstacles they face as part of their rehabilitation.
The Honor Ride Asheville is open to the public with three non-competitive routes starting at Liberty Bikes, 1378 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, N.C., 28803.
