The Quintiles Wrightsville Beach Marathon and Half Marathon presented by Landfall Realty will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2014. It’s the perfect time of year to enjoy one of the best running events while celebrating your favorite college team during the NCAA tournament.

The event weekend also offers a 1-mile fun run benefiting the Cherubs Organization, a 5k benefiting the WBS Foundation for Excellence on Saturday, March 15, and a fantastic runners’ expo Friday and Saturday.
The courses provide runners a great experience on Wrightsville Beach, including scenic water views. This is a fast, flat, Boston-qualifier course with participants running through the Landfall community and finishing at Mayfaire Town Center at a fantastic post-race celebration.
Known for high-end swag using Without Limits branded clothing, the event now offers all participants a free digital finish-line photo courtesy of Land Rover of Cape Fear.
Registration for the fifth annual Quintiles Marathon is open. The event will be the largest participatory race in the Wilmington/Cape Fear area, and is expected to draw more than 3,000 competitors from dozens of states, and a spectator crowd of roughly 10,000.
