Join Ghana Rock this Thanksgiving morning at 8:30 a.m. for its inaugural 5k “Running to Rescue” in historic downtown Davidson. The course is certified by Run for Green and officiated by Event Marketing Services. This year’s race has a limited number of participants so register early online at www.sportoften.com. Since 2011, Ghana Rock, a nonprofit organization, has raised more than $130,000 through their annual benefit concerts to rescue, educate, support and fund facilities for 26 rescued children.
