The USATF North Carolina Endurance Magazine Championship Series will soon begin its ninth year, tying together 10 great races in North Carolina.  The series spans the state with races of distances from the mile to the marathon and will ultimately crown the USATF North Carolina – Endurance Magazine Long Distance Runners of the Year in the Open Men and Women Divisions as well as Masters Men and Women Divisions.  More than $20,000 in prize money is spread over the series.

The Runners of the Year, both male and female overall and male and female masters will be determined by totaling points earned in a system that gives the most points to race winners and fewer points to second and third place finishers.  To be eligible for USATF awards, athletes must be a current 2015 USATF NC member and a 12-month resident of North Carolina.  For information on the Series and updates, please check www.northcarolina.usatf.org.

New in 2015 is the addition of the USATF Club Team category. USATF NC Club Teams will compete for prizes and bragging rights in year-long team competition. Altra Footwear and Feetures! along with the All Out Sports Marketing Agency will be sponsoring the team competition by providing prizes and support for each race.
