The City of Concord Parks and Recreation Department’s Bunny Run 5K will take place on Saturday, April 4 at 9:30 am in beautiful Historic Downtown Concord. The 5K will start/finish in Downtown Concord on Means Avenue and will run through the McEachern Greenway and continue on the Downtown Connector Greenway to the finish. This course is a USAT&F Certified Course. The Bunny Run 5K will be followed by the Bunny Run Festival from 10 am – 1 pm. This free festival is for the entire family and includes a climbing wall, inflatables, arts & crafts, face painting, the Easter Bunny and an interactive DJ with games and prizes. The Bunny Run 5K and Festival welcomes families to enjoy music, games and inflatables for children, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and of course a 5K. This event will be fun for every family member whether they are running in the race or cheering their favorite runner across the finish line!
Registration is available at www.concordparksandrec.org or by walk in registration at 147 Academy Ave. NW, Concord, NC 28026. All pre-registered runners will receive a goodie bag and T-shirt. Pre-registration will close on March 27. Race Day Registration begins at 8:00 am on Saturday, April 4. Goodie bags and T-shirts are not guaranteed on race day. The 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 9:00 am and the Bunny Run 5K begins at 9:30 am. Registration is required for the FREE 1 Mile Fun Run. The Bunny Run 5K has a $15 entry fee until March 27 and a $20 Race Day entry fee.
