Be a part of history- run the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon, celebrating 15 years running! Featuring a Half Marathon, Mile on the Sand and 5K, the running festival weekend will take over the oceanfront this Labor Day weekend.
Run both Saturday and Sunday and you’ll earn the exclusive Remix Challenge medal in addition to your event medals!
The running kicks-off on Saturday with the Mile on the Sand. Participants earn a medal and exclusive towel for completing the fun run along the beach.
On Sunday, run the 5K or 13.1 mile course – both are fast, flat and fun! Bands along the race route help to motivate you to the finish line on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
A post-race concert featuring Sheryl Crow will top off a fun-filled day! Anyone participating in the 5K or Half Marathon receives a free entry to the American Music Festival Sunday night concert with Sheryl! Half marathoners receive a 3-day ticket to the event.
