Individuals and relay teams are welcome to this triathlon at MCAS Cherry Point. Adults will participate in a 400-meter swim, 10-mile bike and 3-mile run event. The adults relay teams will consist of 3 members, one member for each leg. There will be awards for places 1-3, specific age groups and teams. Kids ages 8 and under will perform a 50-meter swim, 1.5-mile bike and .5-mile run. Kids ages 9-12 will perform a 150-meter swim, 3-mile bike and 1-mile run. Before July 18, fees are $60.00 for adults, $150.00 for teams, and $30.00 for kids. Prices increase on July 19 to $70.00 for adults, $180.00 for teams, and $40.00 for kids. After the registration deadline of August 1st add $20.00 to the fee. Same day race registration is available. The registration deadline to get t-shirts is August 1st. Package pick up will be at the Marine Dome from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on 12 August 2015. If you are not affiliated with MCAS Cherry Point and do not have a Department of Defense decal on your vehicle please complete the base access section when registering in order to obtain a special events pass.
