Originally introduced in 2005 as an emergency response tool to filter water often contaminated following natural disasters, LifeStraw® is now used in water filtration products around the world. Weighing just 2 ounces and only 9 inches long, the award-winning LifeStraw® personal water filter can travel with you anywhere. It is ideal for hiking, backpacking, camping, travel, and emergency preparedness. The straw-style filter design lets you turn up to 1,000 liters of contaminated water into safe drinking water, filtering out protozoa and bacteria. Simply place one end of the LifeStraw® tube into unfiltered water (a water bottle, river, or even a puddle) and suck clean water through the top of the straw.

Add this rugged, pocket-sized device to your essential gear and stay connected wherever you roam. You can pre-set your SPOT Gen3 to send tracks at the speed of your adventures. Change your tracks to send every 5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes. SPOT Gen3 will send tracks at your chosen rate for as long as your device is turned on and moving (no need to re-set after 24 hours). Tracking doesn’t stop until you do.

Features include two smart phone compatible pouches, four gel or bar pouches, two electrolyte or valueb pockets and and emergency whistle. Comfort and performance are outstanding due to it’s technically advanced design and features. The SJ Ultra Vest 2.0 adjusts to fit a wider size range with the addition of side adjustment straps. All pockets have been reinforced with edge banding for better gear retention. An added size zipper improves access to an optional reservoir (up to 70 ounces) sold separately.
