The 32nd Annual YMCA Mistletoe Run in Winston-Salem, NC includes a Half Marathon, 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, December 5, 2015. The long-standing community event is known for its beautiful course that travels through historic neighborhoods, Reynolda Village, and the Wake Forest Campus. The event has a festive holiday atmosphere, with sightings of the Mistletoe Man and runners dressed as elves or even Santa. True to the spirit of the YMCA, this is a family-friendly event. While parents run, the Y provides free childcare and fun activities for kids. After the race, stay for the after-party with bounce houses, refreshments, and fun for the whole family. The race supports an important cause as the YMCA works to end childhood obesity through community-based education programs and other initiatives.
