“While training for the Ramblin Rose I was able to push myself and try new things.”
“While shopping in Athleta, I picked up Endurance magazine and read the article about the woman who had battled a disease the previous year but still finished the race with other women helping her cross the finish line. Ramblin’ Rose was an event I wanted to be a part of! So, I signed up not long after that shopping trip. At my race, I had many supporters there cheering me on: my husband, my mother, and a couple of friends. I think since they were there, they were able to see all of the support and enthusiasm the Ramblin’ Rose volunteers showed toward all participants. This alone inspired my mother and a friend to consider participating this year. And I’ll probably be right there with them!”
