“Ramblin’ Rose is not an intimidating triathlon. It is a celebration!”
“We signed up for Ramblin’ Rose with my best friend, Rebecca to celebrate some big changes in our lives. She and I were celebrating “milestone birthdays” and Sophie was getting ready to start high school. You do not have to be an elite athlete to be a part of it. Everyone is out there supporting each other. I did not hear a single person talk about their “time”. Just find your inner strength and give it a try! Training for Ramblin’ Rose gave us an achievable goal for a more diverse workout. We just changed our routine a bit. I had to incorporate swimming, and my daughter the swimmer had to do a little running. It was fun to make some changes and try something different. Our goals for 2016 are to stay active and live a healthy life together. This is the kind of thing I felt the Ramblin’ Rose represented. Being healthy, being active, being together with people that are important to you.”
