The City of Concord Parks and Recreation Department’s Streetlight 5K will take place on Friday, July 7 at 7:30 pm in beautiful Historic Downtown Concord. The 5K will start/finish in Downtown Concord on Means Avenue and will run through the McEachern Greenway and continue on the Downtown Connector Greenway to the finish. This course is a USATF Certified Course.
The Streetlight 5K will coincide with the Firefly Frolic Festival. This free festival is for the entire family and includes inflatables, arts & crafts, face painting and live music! The Streetlight 5K & Festival welcomes families to enjoy music, games and inflatables for children, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and of course a 5K. This event will be fun for every family member whether they are running in the race or cheering their favorite runner to cross the finish line!
Register online at www.concordparksandrec.org or by walk in registration at 147 Academy Ave. NW, Concord, NC 28026. All pre-registered runners will receive a goodie bag and T-shirt. Pre-registration will close on June 30. Race Day Registration begins at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 7 on Means Avenue in Downtown Concord. Goodie bags and T-shirts are not guaranteed on race day.
