Run a race that matters this Thanksgiving! Come out for the 20th Annual Ruby C Hunt YMCA Turkey Trot, Thanksgiving morning November 23rd! All funds raised at the event benefit the YMCA annual sustaining campaign fund. Through this fund, the Ruby C. Hunt YMCA sponsors thousands of children and adults in the community, enabling them to take advantage of all the programs and services the YMCA offers, from summer camp, sports, and reading programs to exercise classes and races like the Turkey Trot.
It will be a great time to begin a new family tradition on Thanksgiving! All friends and family members are invited to participate, including your 4-legged ones. This USATF-certified course takes you through the heart of Boiling Springs, NC and around the campus of Gardner-Webb University. Free childcare is available during the race and free light refreshments will be available for runners.
The 5k Run/Walk starts at 8:30 am and the ½ mile Fun Run begins at 9:30 am. Early Registration is open until November 12; $25 Y members or $30 non-members and $10 for the ½ mile Fun Run.
Early registrations receive a long sleeve t-shirt or a short sleeve performance shirt. Packet pickup is Wednesday, November 22 from 9am – 7pm at the Ruby C. Hunt YMCA or at 7am Thanksgiving Morning at the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center on the campus of Gardner-Webb University.
