The City of Concord Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Veterans Salute 5K and the NEW Veterans Salute 10K will take place on Saturday, November 2 in beautiful Historic Downtown Concord. The Veterans Salute 5K and 10K will be raising funds for the Military Order of the Purple Heart Combat Wounded Veterans Chapter 634. Both races will start/finish in Downtown Concord on Barbrick Avenue and will run through the McEachern Greenway and continue on the Downtown Connector Greenway to the finish. The courses are USAT&F Certified Course.
Not only will there be two races to enjoy, but we will also have a DJ and arts and crafts! The Veterans Salute 5K & 10K welcomes families to enjoy music, games and inflatables for children, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and of course a 5K & 10K. This event will be fun for every family member whether they are running in the race or cheering their favorite runner to cross the finish line, while also raising funds for a great cause!
All pre-registered runners will receive a goodie bag and T-shirt. Pre-registration will close on October 25.
Race Day Registration begins at 7:30 am on Saturday, November 2 on Barbrick Avenue in Downtown Concord. Goodie bags and T-shirts are not guaranteed on race day.

- Veterans Salute 5K & 10K: 9:00 am
- Registration is required for the FREE 1 Mile Fun Run.
Veterans Salute 5K
- $10 for Veterans; all others $15 entry fee until October 25.
- $20 Race Day entry fee.
Veterans Salute 10K
- $25 for Veterans; all others $30 entry fee until October 25.
- $35 Race Day entry fee.
