New Bern – May 5
Soar in the Semper Fly 10k or 5k on May 5. You’ll take off by the Blue Angels’ jet in New Bern’s Lawson Creek Park. Then our fast, flat routes will take you through historic downtown New Bern before you land again by the jet. There will be a wheelchair division in both events and awards will be given to the top three males and females in each age group beginning at under 15 and increasing in five-year increments. Overall winners will receive gift certificates. This run, sponsored by the Marine Corps Aviation Association Alfred A. Cunningham Squadron, benefits the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund.
