Zombie Escape @ Panic Point
Youngsville – April 20
Mud, Music, Beer, Zombies
There will be mud. The race of your life is decked out with obscene quantities of mud, 20 beastly obstacles, and scores of dirty zombies determined to turn you into the running dead. You get a belt with three flags. Roaming zombies try to “infect” you by stealing them. Lose ’em all and you need to you find a “medic.” Perform a physical task in exchange for another flag. In 2012 racers gave the Zombie Escape 9’s and 10’s across the board, and voted it the best mud run in the Triangle. Are they satisfied? Not a chance. This year’s event will be bigger, muddier and zombier than ever, say organizers. Join the Zombie Escape at Panic Point … and race like there’s no tomorrow. Waves of 210 racers every half-hour. “Elite” wave at 9 a.m. Prizes for the top three male and female finishers, 1st-place age-groupers, and 1st-place teams (male, female and co-ed).
